According to the data from National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), the yarn output of the mills above designated size in December 2009 is 2.355 million tons, up by 1.7% from last month, up by 24.4% year on year.

The yarn production in 2009 increased by 12.7% year on year to 24.056 million tons.
