CPI up 2.8% in April, Clothes Kept Decline

China\'s CPI grew 2.8% in April (last year, -1.5%), 0.4 points higher than that of last month. Of which, the urban region CPI grew 2.7%; rural region 3.0%. The accumulated CPI grew 2.4% from Jan. to Apr. (last year, -0.8%). That??s 0.2% higher than that of first quarter.

Divided by eight categories, five of them grew, two declining and one steady. The clothes CPI went down 1.3% this month.
